The public prosecutor’s office in Basel-Landschaft has filed charges in the Beqiri case . A concrete date for the monster trial is not yet known. It should take place at the earliest at the end of this year or at the latest in spring 2018. The criminal court will next examine the indictment and decide whether it meets the requirements. In winter 2014 a group of masked thugs attacked the martial arts school of Shemsi Beqiri. The alleged perpetrators should expect a long prison sentences. The presumption of innocence applies to all defendants.
