BALEX’s attorneys regularly support non-profit institutions such as the voluntary preservation of historical monuments, the Foundation Eye Clinic or the Animal Welfare of both Basel cantons. Another project is the fruit juice producer in Hellikon. As the Aargauer and the Neue Fricktaler Zeitung reported, the historic ‘Mosti’ in Hellikon was put back into operation in autumn 2017 by the association ‘Fledermosti’. The association also supports the planting of high-stem trees, which provide a habitat for the protected bats.
Our law firm supports the ‘Fledermosti’ and has helped, for example, by drawing up its articles of association and taking over the presidency. The traditional mill is operated by its own hydroelectric power station. The necessary concession expires. BALEX will support the association with its expertise in relicensing.
